Photographing the Groom:


It is important to remember that tacky adjusting the tie photos, tying shoes, or messing around with cuff links are something to throw out the window. (Unless they happen naturally without influence this is not a priority. Our couples like our photos that are organic or posed organically. Sometimes this means facilitation of the image by giving the groom something to do rather than a pose.

It is very important to us to have a wide variety of angles and distances. We don’t care if that photo you took of him laughing is blurry. We love it, move on to another photo. As long as the photo is compositionally sound or has some special moment or burst of emotion, we want it. Please don’t photograph from the same spot for 10 times in a row.
